My weekend

Monday, March 16th, 2009

I know it’s been a while since I’ve wrote a good post on what I did this weekend, but up until now everything has been pretty routine, nothing out of the ordinary, or I guess extra ordinary enough to write about.

Even this weekend wasn’t chock full of events, but I did go to Grammy’s house and ran around with cousin Gus in the backyard which pooped me out, she took me for a long walk while momma and pappa went new house hunting. I slept over at Grammy’s house, she has extra beds for us to sleep in. I always sleep better over there since it’s WAY quieter at night than it is at home.

I woke up then momma and pappa came to hang out until pappa had to leave for SF - business trip, he does all kinds of important things. I hope that he’ll take me along on one of his trips one day. Then Grammy had some guests over for dinner and Uncle Dan BBQed outside, while I chased cousin Gus around some more. Then it was time for dessert! Asian pears - my fave. They are juicy and crunchy and I LOVE to eat them! That was until….Uncle Dan took the wrapper and pinned my ears back…I think that I look silly without my ears, what do you think?

We got home late last night and I passed out on momma’s clothes before I could even crawl into bed. Talk about sleepy!

But today is another day and I am at the groomer’s all day, so I will post a picture with my new haircut tomorrow for all of you to see! Hope you had a less exhaustng weekend then me and I hope it will hurry up and get warm already. The countdown to Spring begins…only 4 more days to go! Yipeeeeeeeeee!

Boy Bonding

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

I spent ALL DAY with Pappa on Sat. We boys hardly get to spend a WHOLE DAY together with out a girl being around. I asked him all kinds of guy questions while playing ball, and told him all about Milli on our long walk. I wished it was a little warmer so that I could have gone to the park or something, but I had just as much fun taking a nap next to pappa while we watched a movie. I had lots of fun with pappa, but I missed momma and was glad when we drove into the city later in the night to pick her up!

Hi all! I am working remotely from home and am so glad to see that Emma was in the office, as for me, I was so TIRED for the move yesterday, that I am SO HAPPY to take the day off to rest. I woke up later than usual, ranoutside for a quicky walk- but man is it windy and COLD! Brrrrrrr. Bundle up and have a great weekend and talk to you all next week.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Friday, February 13th, 2009

Hi Everyone, I am out tomorrow and Monday is a holiday, so I wanted to send everyone my love! I woof LOVE and hope that you get to spend it with everyone you love. I know that Pappa has something nice planned for Momma and I think that they both have something nice planned for me (hint…hint!) If I’m extra lucky, I might even be able to spend it with cousin Mickey and Cousin Gus (Pappa can I go visit them?) Have the best weekend ever and I hope that all the love keeps you warm. xoxo Tater

The Coldest Day of the Year!

Monday, January 5th, 2009

Hi everyone! For Christmas, I got a new jacket from pappa just in time to keep me warm for the coldest day of the year, just in case you were not in New York City it was New Year’s Eve. In anticipation of 2009 I bundled up to celebrate with cousin Gus and cousin Mickey, but the jacket was just not enough. The minute I got to Mickey and Gus’s place, I jumped right into momma’s coat and took a nap, almost missing the ball drop! Good thing they live in midtown and the noise is not to be missed! Happy New Year ya’ll! Hope you didn’t freeze.

Happy Holidays!

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays from all of us at Doggy Desk. I am excitedly counting down the days until Christmas. I hope that Santa is bringing me lots of goodies, I have tried to be the best dog ever this year! It is freezing outside in New York and momma has been bundling me up…and papa said that I looked like the little kid in a Christmas Story. I have never seen that movie, but what do you think?

Even though I was so bundled up that I could hardly move, I still got really cold, so papa ended carrying me home most of the way back from the pet store.

So if you decide to go outside, make sure to wear extra everything! Warmest wishes for the bestest holiday for everyone, when it’s all over, make sure to write me and let me know what you got, we can compare and see who was the better behaved dog this year! Ahhhhhh-woooooooh.

napping….

is it 5 yet? The clock is ticking, it is so close, let the weekend begin!

Have a good one ya’ll!

Uncle Dan’s Magical Powers

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Hi! Hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did, I went to visit cousin Gus at his New York City apt and Uncle Dan put me under his magical powers. Mom was upset that he had a vice-like grip around my head.

But as a little time passed, I got sleepier and sleepier and before I knew it I was asleep! I’m not sure what happened, but I think that I as hypnotized. Has this ever happened to any of you? I think this is a new way of Uncle Dan making me calm down, what do you think?

Water Cooler Gossip

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Met Emma at the water bowl this morning to catch up on what’s new in her life. She has been out for a long time packing and getting ready to move into her new digs this weekend. She has been neck deep in paint and is getting ready for the movers to come and get her stuff. I wanted to drink out of the same bowl with her, but she wasn’t feeling it. Alas I drank alone. Must be cause she is exhausted from the packing. Trust me I know, I was there just a couple of months ago. I know it’ s hard work, but trust me, once you are in, it is totally worth it! Good luck Emma and post some photos of your new place!

Shopping is for the Ladies!

Monday, October 6th, 2008

I got a new shirt! I got it in NJ near Grammy’s house, but what I don’t get is that I shopped so much only to get 1 shirt, can you believe it? Mom, Dad and I went everywhere this weekend, but I especially liked shopping in Soho. If you don’t know, Soho stands for South of Houston, all the cool people go shopping there!

My favorite store was a store called Uniqlo! Mom likes it cause they hem your jeans for free. Dad likes it for affordable, good quality basics. I like it cause there is a cool Japanese Robot that talks back to you and rolls around on wheels. He’s big and yellow! I tried to chase him around, but he didn’t really bend down and seemed a little confused. I guess it’s cause he’s so far from home.IF you go, please give him a hug and tell him that his Mommy will come and get him soon.

Mom carried me around when I got tired of walking and then we headed home on the PATH. What a weekend!

I started out enthusiastic and strong. I wanted to love shopping as much as Mommy does!

Unfortunately I couldn’t keep up and started to slip…

I was so happy to be home in bed! I really am smiling here, I was just too tired to lift my head to show you.
As much as I had fun, I am going to leave the shopping to the girls, I’d rather stay home with Daddy watching TV and munching on treats!
