I was sitting by the front door waiting for Momma and she looked over at me and called me Tripod. I looked up at her and asked her why she called me that when my name is Tater. *shrug* She started to laugh and ask me if it was comfortable for my back legs to be splayed so far apart. But honestly whenever I sit on the wooden floor, my hind legs just spread apart like this becasue there is no grip. Do you think it’s funny too?
Personally I think I look a bit froggy like in this one. Thoughts?
Hi all! This is a picture of me hanging out with Auntie Jess, Momma and Uncle Dan. The weather was so nice yesterday that we decided to dine el fresco at Cafeteria. Uncle Dan had a delicious fish and chips while Momma and Auntie Jess split a turkey burger and salad. The waiter commented on how I was the best behaved dog that he ever met AND Momma even rewarded me at home with treats and a long evening walk. Have you ever dined el fresco? I think more restaurants should have outdoor seating for us pups.
This is me POOPED. After helping everyone move this weekend, I AM SUPER TIRED. Cousin Gus and Cousin Mickey will be staying with us while their new place is getting finished (they are moving into a newly renovated aptartment building). I have been going to bed extra late and waking up extra early, so I am pooped, I am having the hardest time keeping my eyes open and even though I know it’s Monday and I should be more productive, I think I will need to spend the day recupperating from the weekend. Hopefully, I will get more energetic as the day progresses so that I can go home and play! But for now…sweet dreams!
Like everything in life…all good things must come to an end and as mama’s friend Danny says, it’s an end of an era (which refers to the LIMs time at THE VOGUE)! If you do not know, Momma, Auntie Jess and Uncle Dan have been at The vogue for 5 years, moving from one apt to another over the years but in the same building. They started in a one bedroom with no balcony and upgraded to a HUGE 2 bedroom with balcony on a high floor before they finally moved out this weekend. As a last hooray, Gus and I went to the roof one final time to run around and mark our territory before we left. I will miss ball in the long hallways and of course running free on the roof with all the other pups in the building. Bye Bye 990! Moving was a huge ordeal, but I am excited to visit Cousin Gus and Cousin Mickey at their new neighborhood and building. EXCITING!
Today, Momma’s friend Miranda sent ae-mail to her (she thinks it’s cute and funny, but personally I think it’s scary!)…remember how I told you Uncle Dan had a Margarita Madness Birthday Party last weekend, boy am I glad that I don’t drink because looking at these pictures makes me wonder what I would have looked like if I did! YIKES!
What Drinking Will Do to You
This is me commuting home. Pappa was holding the bag and since he is WAY taller than Momma, I don’t get have as much control as I do with her, instead only my nose sticks out and I can smell the air and only guess what’s happening around me. Maybe this was my punshiment for driving Momma nuts at Best Buy, or maybe this is the way I need to behave at all times, who knows…I get so confused sometimes.
This is me and momma at Best Buy last night. We met up with Pappa to go home and he needed to make a quick pit stop into Best Buy to pick up Uncle Dan’s video game. I was feeling excited and really did not want to be in the bag and tried to wiggle my way out (see how I got my two front legs out of the bag) but Momma was not having it. She scolded me and told me that she was already feeling heavy enough without me squirming around. I felt bad, but I think that it would have been better if she just let me out of the bag, I mean she would have felt 10lbs lighter! Sigh.
Hi All! Hope you had a great weekend! I know that I did! The weekend started off with a bang at Uncle Dan’s Birthday Margarita Maddness Party. I got to stay up extra late and play with cousin Mickey and cousin Gus AND Uncle John’s flight got in really late on Friday night so I got home super late on Friday night. Then on Saturday, we came back into the city to have Brunch with Uncle John. Then went baby brother car seat shopping which was pretty exhausting. There are so many options to choose from!
Then on Sunday we headed to see Gramma and Grampa’s and then afterward drove out to the Poconos to see Papa’s friends. I met up with Coal and we hung out. It was so nice and cool out there, I got to run around without my leash and ate BBQ! YUMM. Then we headed back on Monday afternoon after stopping off at the outlet to pick up some stuff for Papa and Uncle Dan (it was so crowded!). I basically passed out the whole car ride home (see above and below photos) and then took another long nap once I got home. Whew…what a weekend. What did you do, did you end up as tired as I did?

So if you work at the Doggy Desk, you would know that like every other office with lots of dudes, we fool around a lot. Gus and I like to wrestle, chase each other around, nip at each other’s heel, steal each other’s snacks, etc. It is all fine and dandy, except that we share our space with humans and sometimes when they have conference calls or meetings at the office, we have to keep it down. Unfortunately, sometimes we get out of hand and then we are put on what Momma calls the Hypnotic chair (above white rocker) which for some reason calms us both down and makes me and Gus very sleepy! That is until…we wake up and the fun starts all over again!
