Cold = Hibernating if you are a BEAR!

Friday, November 21st, 2008

Look what momma put me in! I am not a bear I am a MORKIE! But this sure keeps me warm and the warmth sure makes me tired! I am WAY too busy to be dozing…but I am feeling very sleepy.

I think  the bears have it right, sleep all winter and play all spring, summer and fall. RoAr.

This has not only been the coldest week of the year, but the busiest! I have been working non-stop. I am happy that things are busy in the very scary economic environment, but boy am I happy that it’s Friday! I plan on sleeping and lounging all weekend. What are your plans? Only another hour to go…I will be typing away until then.

Where’s Tater?

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

Boy it is cold outside! I am trying to expose myself as little as possible to the cold elements.

Without cousin Mickey, Gus and Emma in the office to keep me company or keep me warm (body heat) I am left alone with my blanket. Oh…Pooh.

Momma shares her blanket

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

Last night was so COLD! I came home with Momma and we were frozen like popsicles, they are yummy to eat, but I would never want to be one, EVER! Papa came home and pulled out the heavy duty winter blanket for us to wrap ourselves in (as you can tell it was for momma since the blanket is pink (we all know what happened the last time I wore pink!), but she did share and I loved it!) Because Papa is extra nice, he stuck it in the dryer where it got all warm and toasty! Thanks~ you are the best! I enjoyed it so much that I hung out there all last night and this morning! I hope that for Christmas, I get my very own and if I’m extra lucky papa will throw it in the dryer for me on the extra cold days…hint…hint!

Love at first sight…or feel.

Sweet dreams until next time!

Awooooo it’s Getting Cold outside!

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, and I can not believe how cold it is. I think that mama was right when she told me that the weather won’t get you down if you are dressed right for it. I know that I would be a frozen dog if it weren’t for my new fleece adidas outfit with pants! I can run around outside breathing in the cold air like it were summer…well not quite that warm I guess…(these are photos of me on my morning walk, all the water around was frozen, so you can imagine how cold it was…but I was feeling really toasty…awooOOO!) (Outfit was bought for me in K town at the Morning Glory Store on 34th Street - south side-the woman is so nice - everyone should go there to shop!)

That’s the back view.

That’s me, SPORTY TATER!

is it 5 yet? The clock is ticking, it is so close, let the weekend begin!

Have a good one ya’ll!

Tater Loves Gus

Monday, November 10th, 2008

I LOVE cousin Gus! I LOVE to bother him, bite his legs, jump on him, take his food…and shove myself wherever he is! DO you think he minds? I don’t care, I just love, Love, LOVE him!

Brunch at Prime and Beyond

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Mom and her friends went to brunch this weekend, I went along in my bag…but had to be quiet since I wasn’ suppose to be there. Shhhhhhhh. I am pretty bummed that I had to be in the bag, esp. when they were at a restaurant called Prime and Beyond. I could smell what she was having…eggs (my favorite), burger (my most favoritest!) I will make sure that she gets take-out and shares with me next time!

Uncle Dan’s Magical Powers

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Hi! Hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did, I went to visit cousin Gus at his New York City apt and Uncle Dan put me under his magical powers. Mom was upset that he had a vice-like grip around my head.

But as a little time passed, I got sleepier and sleepier and before I knew it I was asleep! I’m not sure what happened, but I think that I as hypnotized. Has this ever happened to any of you? I think this is a new way of Uncle Dan making me calm down, what do you think?

Nigel in the Windy City

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Emma Here…

As we all know, last Friday was Halloween.

My friend from Chicago, Nigel, has been begging for a Doggy Desk Midwest Corespondent position. I finally gave him his big break.

The Assignment: Report back on the 2008 Halloween Trends in the Midwest.

Nigel was thrilled. He had camera in paw and was raring to go.

What was supposed to happen: Nigel was dressed as a Pig Herder. He was part of a couple’s outfit. His partner, Sweet Vivi!, was dressed as a pig.

What happened: Nigel ate his pig he was supossed to carry. See evidence to the right.

Grabbed a pillow and took a nap.

Mr. Nigel, I don’t know if you are at the corespondent level yet. Let’s start off as an intern to the interns. Whatcha think?
